Mid - Senior Full Stack Developer (Angular / Java)

The role:

Due to growth, we’re currently looking for a full-stack software engineer experienced in, or has a strong interest in, using Scala for building machine-learning enabled banking solutions. Working on developing a new machine learning based platform with a highly skilled and talented team, you will have the opportunity to express your innovative ideas, make decisions and demonstrate leadership capabilities. You will work on challenging projects, with exposure to a wide variety of technologies and skill sets, in a dynamic, fun and fast paced environment.   


About you:

Essential skills

  • Good knowledge of software design principles and programming paradigms
  • Demonstrable and substantial professional experience in software development
  • Commercial experience with Java
  • Commercial experience with Angular
  • API integration experience
  • Good knowledge of Web technologies (JSON, REST, CSS, OWASP basics)
  • Good understanding of Git, JIRA and Scrum
  • Good communication skills, innovative and passionate about technology

Highly desirable skills

  • Familiarity with the mainstream Scala
  • Familiarity with modern DevOps (Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with MongoDB
  • Experience in building and evaluating AI/machine-learning models
  • Experience developing cloud hosted applications is an advantage – AWS preferred
