Due to growth, Sandstone Technology are seeking a Tech Lead to join us on a new client engagement, providing essential technical leadership as we deliver a complex digital lending transformation program. You could be a Senior developer who has mentored


The Role

As the Tech Lead you will ensure and drive quality technical solutions based on industry best practice and principles. You will be ultimately accountable for code quality, solution output, software engineering output and the end to end delivery cycle of initiatives that ensure our delivery is of high quality and aligned with SLAs.

The Tech Lead will provide technical advice on complex issues, working with stakeholders to provide quality outcomes to our customer. This role will see you lead cross-functional feature teams and will also contribute to and influence the overall software engineering operations. 60/40 split in your operational leading vs technical


About You

  • Solid experience building, maintaining high availability production systems
  • Good demonstrated understanding of object-oriented design principles and patterns
  • Exposure and skills in development with Java, Angular and AWS is preferable but other technical skills will be considered
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile SDLC
  • Experience or exposure to Git, CI/CD, and Atlassian tools like JIRA, SourceTree, Bitbucket
  • Strong communication and leadership skills within an Agile framework
  • Ideally, someone with Industry experience and knowledge on digital customer onboarding and loan origination will be highly regarded
