Senior Java Developer

The role:

Due to growth, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to play a significant role in delivering software projects and driving outcomes for one of our key clients, one of the ‘Big Four’ Banks. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating well-architected solutions, driving quality code and is experienced in current best practices for responsive and accessible design.

About you:

• At least 5+ years commercial software development experience
• Good knowledge of software design principles and programming paradigms
• Java experience required, full-stack experience (Angular front-end) is highly desirable
• Knowledge of Spring, Hibernate, Apache Camel is preferable
• Excellent communication skills and ability to confidently communicate with stakeholders
• Innovative and idea driven, able to research and suggest solutions to technical problems
• Strong attention to detail and quality driven
• Able to drive quality outcomes through effective coaching and mentoring
• Passion for technology
